With support from the Corra Foundation, we ran mental health sessions alongside a six week Zumba and world dance programme in South Carbrain. Classes were designed to boost mood, fitness and connection - especially for women from ethnic minority backgrounds. Participants told us the loved the music, energy and sense of belonging that Dance Vibez brings.

In partnership with Daiwa Anglo - Japanese Foundation, Dance Vibez CIC travelled to Japan to research how world-leading dance studios like Studio HANA! build sustainable pathways for young dancers. This experience has inspired our future plans to bring more international collaborations to Scotland and to strengthen professional opportunities for street dance performers.

Our National Lottery Comunity Fund project has provided free workshops in Afro Dancehall and Street fusion for young people aged 10-18. These sessions don't just teach dance - they also explore careers in the arts, fro choreography and videography to costume design and production. We've seen incredible enthusiasm from Cumbernauld Academy students, many of whom said they finally found a dance style that represents them.
